Universal Conscience Connection

I was going to keep Wisdom Wednesdays information about health wisdom information such as massage, reiki, or supplement knowledge I’ve gained – however, tonight I met up with a newly acquainted friend of mine which has made me reflect on how and why we connected. This connection has inspired me to write about universal conscience connection, why we connect with people, or why we crossed paths.

Me and this friend have crossed path many times over the past few years at various places. Then a couple of months ago we were able to connect more, chat, and realize that we both liked to write. So we made a plan to meet once a week to write prompts and then share what we wrote. Tonight was our writing night and after writing we kept enjoying each others company some more by sharing parts of our past, spiritual beliefs, and other philosophical thoughts/ideas. Turns out we have lots in common and similar but different pasts.

Synchronicity.

Kindred Spirits in connection.

A form of healing.

I love connecting with others in intimate one-on-one environments where we can be open and hold space for one another. This connection has made me feel like I am not alone with what I have experienced and hearing how another human being is navigating the similar experience. It opens up my perspective and gives a sense of grounded hope for connection. I’ve always been a strong believer in everything is connected and people cross our paths for a reason, a season, or a lifetime. After writing the previous sentence, I noticed that I combined to of my beliefs into one. Haha.

I’ve had a few other connections similar but different to this one in my life where our experiences growing up were similar but we lived miles apart. My sense of friendship community has always seemed different than most people experience. I know so many people that have local established fairly large one group of friends. For me this connection shows up as: I have a friend here, I have a friend there, and sometimes those friends are part of another larger group of friends that I don’t feel strongly connected to.

For the longest time I have felt that I am missing out or wishing I had a big group friend connection, but I honestly feel more grateful and fulfilled with intimate one-on-one connections – a type of bond where we can dive deep and connect on a more universal lifeforce like level.

I feel like there is more to share here, but I feel it’s now getting late and my brain is like, “I’m getting exhausted of thinking deep at the moment.” With that being said, I need to end this post so I’ll end this thought with some questions for you the reader: How do connections show up for you? Do you connect with one group of friends that get together all the time? Or are you like me and have a spread of friends from all sorts of walks of life? What’s your favorite way of connecting with people?

Feel free to do whatever your heart desires with these questions. If you feel inspired to share, please do so in the comments or maybe perhaps next time we connect in person. If you feel a desire to keep your responses to yourself, that’s perfectly alright as well.
